Hamernik Art Studios provides Caricature artists, Airbrush tattoo artists, Henna tattoo artists, and Face Painting for special events and parties in San Diego county. Hamernik Art Studios was created after spending the past 9 years setting up and running entertainment art for theme parks. Hamernik Art Studios and San Diego Caricatures were both founded by Harold “Harry” Hamernik, who literally ‘wrote the book’ of ‘How to’ on Caricatures. He is the author of “Face Off, How to Draw Amazing Caricatures and Cartoon Portraits" and trained caricaturists and portrait artists at several Theme Parks including Sea World, Legoland, and Knott’s Berry Farm as the manager of the entertainment arts operations. Both Harold and Kate Hamernik have Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art fields as well as over 18 years combined experience as Caricature Artists. We also staff several artists, each with years of experience in customer service and in art! We believe that dependability, timeliness, and courtesy are just as important as the quality of our work.
